Where the project is part-funded, the terms of any financing arrangement are between you and the lender. We may assist you with documentation and draw scheduling, but we are not a lender, and we do not approve credit, offer credit or guarantee that funding will be granted.
Occasionally a project is affected by matters outside our control, including weather, supply delays, concealed conditions, permit timing and additional work required by an inspection. When that happens we will explain the situation, offer the options available to you and agree how to proceed.
Either of us may cancel the project in accordance with the cancellation terms set out in the specific agreement. You remain responsible for work performed, materials ordered and reasonable costs incurred up to the point of cancellation, as set out in that agreement.
Every completed project is covered by a written workmanship warranty covering the installation work carried out by us. That warranty is issued at handover and explained to you at the time. Manufacturer warranties on products and systems also apply and remain with you; we will identify which they are.
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, by third-party work, by failure to carry out reasonable maintenance, by acts of nature beyond normal expectation, or by changes to the property made after handover. It does not cover the natural wear that occurs on any surface over time.
Our crews work to applicable safety requirements and will secure the work area while they are on site. You agree not to operate equipment we have installed or left in an incomplete state, and not to interfere with any area we have made safe or isolated during the works.
We take responsibility for carrying out our work with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, for loss of use of the property, or for costs arising from something we did not design, supply or install. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
